Mordaunt: Truss has ‘given us a flavour’ of her style
Penny Mordaunt has welcomed the election of Liz Truss as Conservative Party leader.
The Portsmouth North MP said of Ms Truss: “She’s set out her plan; she’s given us a flavour of the style that she’s going to adopt as prime minister.” Ms Mordaunt stood as a leadership candidate in the early stages of the contest, later lending her support to Liz Truss.
