Amazon records worst month in August for fires in over a decade according to Brazil Space Agency

The month of August has been Brazil's worst for fires in more than a decade.

The South American rainforest is considered a buffer against global warming.

As well as the destruction from flames, Greenpeace Brazil also detected a record amount of deforestation.
