Why They STILL Want To Kill Salman Rushdie
In 1988, Salman Rushdie published his infamous book, “The Satanic Verses.” Soon, he was receiving death threats from Muslims around the world, and the Ayatollah Khomeini issued a fatwa calling for his assassination.
On August 12, 2022, a man named Hadi Matar brutally attacked Rushdie and stabbed him repeatedly.
Why was Rushdie attacked for a book he wrote more than three decades ago?
Because another book, written 14 centuries ago, called for violence against the enemies of Islam.
David Wood discusses the issue.
