PM: US abortion rights overturning 'big step backwards'

Boris Johnson has criticised the scrapping of the constitutional right to abortion in the United States as a "big step backwards", after the US Supreme Court overturned the landmark Roe v Wade ruling.

The prime minister said: "I've always believed in a woman's right to choose and I stick to that view and that's why the UK has the laws that it does." Report by Buseld.
