Long queues form at passport offices amid delays

Long queues have formed at passport offices in the UK, as hopeful holidaymakers face delays to their documentation renewal that could put summer breaks at risk.

Mike Jones from the Public and Commercial Services Union warned things could get worse, saying any further surge in applications could put "immense pressure" on the passport service.
