Thirty years ago there was a worrying gas leak at Leningrad nuclear plant in 1992 - just six years after the Chernobyl disaster.
Experts worried lessons had not been learned and safety standards not improved.
Now, one month after Moscow's invasion of Ukraine, Russian troops have taken control of Chernobyl and there are concerns it will be maintained safely.
