Chancellor fills car with petrol to publicise duty cut
To publicise his 5p a litre fuel duty cut announced in his Spring Statement, Rishi Sunak posed for the media, filling a Kia Rio hatchback outside a supermarket petrol station in south London.
The Chancellor chatted to the carโs owner as he tried to get exactly ยฃ30 worth of petrol into the vehicle but narrowly failed in his endeavour.
