On Sunday, a pick-up van driver, who was transporting animal carcasses as a part of the job assigned to him, was assaulted and beaten up by the villagers in Mathura.
The villagers assaulted the 30 year old Muslim man over suspicion of ferrying beef and smuggling cows.
