Minister defends PM's trip to Saudi Arabia after mass execution
Foreign Office Minister James Cleverly has defended Boris Johnson's trip to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday to seek further oil supplies, following reports that 81 men were executed by the Saudi regime on Saturday.
He said "the UK has always had a principled opposition to the death penalty" but that "ultimately the prime minister is there looking to support European countries", who are looking to replace Russian oil supplies.
