Christian Eriksen set to make football return with Brentford

Danish footballer Christian Eriksen is to make his return to professional football, after his on-field cardiac arrest at Euro 2020, with Premier League side Brentford.

In June 2021, Eriksen had a defibrillator implanted in his chest but rules in Italy meant he was unable to continue playing with his then club Inter Milan.
