Ex Tory MP says Whips playing on 2019 intake inexperience

Former Conservative MP Ben Howlett believes Whips have been playing on the inexperience and insecurities of recently-elected MPs by suggesting they could lose funding if they don't follow their instructions.

He says the pandemic has meant they have lacked a "support network" of more seasoned members who could help them navigate these situations.
