Waves of rain continue

Waves of rain continue to inundate the region, with showers coming anytime in the day or night.

Rumbles of thunder and flashes of lightning will be embedded in some of the heavy downpours.

The upper low responsible for these rainy conditions will meander around through Friday and then drier air moves in by the weekend.

Tracking the Tropics: The upper low giving us rain this week may spawn a coastal low.

There’s a very low 10% chance it develops into a weak tropical system.

Our meteorologists will continue to monitor this potential, but any development would be slow.
