Boris Johnson and Emir of Qatar joke over PM's rugby skills

Boris Johnson left Qatari officials laughing as he and the country's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, shared a joke over his rugby skills.

The Qatari leader had complimented the prime minister as a "very good rugby player" after having seen videos of him play, which prompted his witty response "I was meant to be playing football." The discussion led to the sport after Mr Johnson likened the need for climate action to the "final drive to the line".
