Gov. Abbott increases state's level of readiness with Nicholas approaching
In response to severe weather threats along the Gulf Coast due to Tropical Storm Nicholas, Governor Greg Abbott has ordered the Texas State Operations Center (SOC) to increase its readiness to Level II (Escalated Response) beginning at 9 a.m.
Monday.
