Twerking toddler' uses coffee table as her stage to dance

Ellie loves to move her body to the beat ofall kinds of music.

The baby girl can't helpbut feel the rhythm as she twists, jumps andsways to her favorite tracks.Her father documents Ellie's dancing evolutionon TikTok to her 67,000 followers.

He dubbedher the "twerking toddler" himself.The dancing tot went viral with hervery first video, inspired by none otherthan rapper Megan Thee Stallion."Every time 'Body' by Megan Thee Stallioncomes on, [she] throws everything off thetable and takes the stage," the caption read.Ellie was minding her business until "Body" startedplaying.

When the beat dropped, she tossed everythingaside and jumped up and down.

Then, she climbed ontop of the coffee table as if it were her stage."Toddlers are like little drunk adults.I love it," someone joked.

"I too get on tableswhen this comes on," another said.Babies are actually bornwith a predisposition to dance.A study by the University of York'sDepartment of Psychology found that infantsbetween five months and two years old areessentially programmed to move to music."We also found that the better the childrenwere able to synchronize their movements withthe music, the more they smiled,” Dr. Marcel Zentner,who conducted the study, told Science Daily
