Woman heartbroken by ‘ridiculous’ timing of family’s birthday party plans

Woman heartbroken by ‘ridiculous’ timing of family’s birthday party plans: ‘There is no good reason’.A woman is at her wit's end with her family's inconsiderate dinner schedule. She asked Reddit's "Am I the A******" forum for advice.

She and her sister have different work and school schedules. The problem is that, when her family hosts dinners at their mom's house, they always work around her sister's schedule. When she asked her family to coordinate with her once in a while, they refused."Ever since my sister has started her evening college classes, every family event is centered around her schedule," the Reddit poster explained ."They eat before I am off work to coordinate with my sister, when I get there around 5:15 pm to 5:30 p.m., I’m stuck eating alone".When the family was throwing the Reddit poster's grandmother a party, she was hoping they would accommodate her schedule."My mom said it made more sense to fit around my sister's schedule. When I asked why, because I literally couldn’t think of a difference it would make, she said, 'it just does'.I spoke with my grandmother, and she also could not understand the reasoning behind it.Reddit users sided with the poster on this one."Why is your sister so much more important than you?

It’s ridiculous," one person remarked."Your mom is very obviously playing favorites," a user commented
