People marched across the city in a peaceful and largely upbeat event, although conservative Christians were seen arguing with gay Christians on the route about whether homosexuality is a sin.

Ivan Tagle, a prominent LGTB rights activist, also gave a short speech at the parade.

Attendees marched along Reforma avenue to the Zocalo (Plaza del Zócalo), a square in the historic centre of the city.
