Indian mechanic transforms old banger into his very own 'Lamborghini'
A mechanic from northeastern India is turning heads after transforming his second-hand car into a "Lamborghini." Nurul Haque, 31, from Assam state opened a garage in 2020 hoping that with a lot of hard work he might one day be able to own a luxury supercar.
However, fate had other plans for Haque and his garage shut down during the pandemic-induced lockdown.
Rather than lose all hope, Haque decided to put his skills to work and make his dream come true at the same time.
Over several months, Haque single-handedly converted his Maruti Swift into a vehicle resembling the high-end Italian sports car.
The mechanic says the experience has been overwhelmingly positive and he's hoping to create a Ferrari replica next.
He's also considering selling his design for the modified sports car to other enthusiasts.
