Wildlife officials managed to rescue three snakes that were trapped in a large irrigation pond in Beed, western India.
Footage from June 1 shows the catchers being lowered down the 15-feet-tall slippery cement wall into the water.
The rescuers held onto a rope with one hand and used the other to catch the stranded snakes.
Akash Jadhav managed to catch the two cobras and the other snake and they were later released back into the wild.
Jadhav said: "The two cobras tested my fitness and I had begun to tire out and lose patience, both deadly sins when you are dealing with an agitated snake.
I pushed myself to keep going without losing focus.
It worked.”
