Officers from India's forest department on Monday (May 31) rescued an angry bear from a residential area of central India.

Officers from India's forest department on Monday (May 31) rescued an angry bear from a residential area of central India.

Footage showed a team removing the large mammal in a crate from a building in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh.

The bear was released shortly afterwards in Panna Tiger Reserve.
