DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER Movie - Clip - James Bond and Tiffany confront Blofeld - On this day in 1971 Bond and Tiffany Case's confrontation with Blofeld on the oil rig was filmed for DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER.

Production designer Ken Adam said: “We were very lucky, we found an actual rig off the coast of San Diego.

It was not in use so we were able to stage all of our explosions on it.”
