People shut eyes to COVID norms in Shivamogga

As the country is reeling under the horrific second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, locals in Shivamogga thronged the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) market turning eyes from COVID-19 protocols.

COVID protocols including social distancing norms were flouted at the market.

Karnataka is observing Janta Curfew during the weekend to curb the spread of the virus.

A two-week lockdown will remain in place across the state between May 10 andMay 24.
