A distressed rottweiler puppy was rescued after becoming trapped in a metal gate in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu.
Footage from April 29 shows the rescuer attempting to wriggle free the pup.

The pooch is heard crying out as it is gradually edged out of the metal gate.
The puppy was then reunited with his dad.
