Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi on May 07 slammed Central government over the management of the current COVID situation in the country.

She said India is "crippled by a political leadership today that has no empathy for the people".

""I say this categorically - India is crippled by a political leadership today that has no empathy for the people.

The Modi govt has failed the people of our country"," Sonia said at Congress Parliamentary Party Meeting.
