With 4.14 lakh new COVID cases, India records highest-ever daily spike in world

On May 07, India witnessed highest-ever spike of COVID-19 cases in a day in the world.

India's COVID caseload now stands at 2,14,91,598 as 4,14,188 new COVID cases were reported in last 24 hours.

Currently, there are 36,45,164 active cases in the nation.

3,915 new deaths were registered in 24 hrs taking the total toll to 2,34,083.

In last 24 hrs, 3,31,507 people have been discharged.

So far, 16,49,73,058 COVID vaccine jabs have been inoculated
