‘3 CT scans = Hiroshima bomb radiation’: Top doctor warns of overuse amid Covid

AIIMS director Dr Randeep Guleria had warned against CT scans in mild Covid cases linking its radiation to cancer risk.

Backing Dr Guleria, Dr Naval Vikram, Dept of Medicine, AIIMS, New Delhi and Dr Jagadish Hiremath, Founder, ACE Healthcare also cautioned against the overuse of CT scans.

They pointed out its harmful effects and urged everyone to be very careful.
