Delhi Police busts racket indulged in black marketing of oxygen concentrators

With the arrest of four accused, Delhi Police busted a racket indulged in black marketing of Oxygen Concentrator Machines, highly required equipment for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.

In this regard, information was received from a secret informer that a person namely Anuj Jain is selling oxygen concentrator machines at higher prices through black-marketing.

On this, a raiding team was sent as decoy customer to purchase the machine.

He found the above-mentioned person along with another person who was present at Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar and during the enquiry, he agreed to sell one oxygen concentrator machine for Rs.

1,10,000 and accepted Rs 5000 as token money.

On this, the decoy customer signalled the team and the raiding party immediately apprehended both persons.

During the interrogation, accused persons disclosed that they have also stocked more oxygen concentrator machines at their house at Janakpuri for selling at higher prices in the black market.

After that on their stance police arrested their other associates.

Total 115 oxygen concentrator machines recovered from their possession.
