Anil Vij appeals people to donate healthcare equipment due to surge in COVID cases

Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on May 04 appealed people to donate healthcare equipment due to unprecedented rise in COVID-19 cases in the state.

He also directed hospitals with more than 50-bed capacity to have their own oxygen generation plant.

"In view of rising COVID-19 cases, we need to create additional bed capacity.

I urge people to donate healthcare equipment.

We have made it mandatory for hospitals with more than 50-bed capacity to have their own oxygen generation plant and they have to complete this within six months.

The initiative has been taken to gear up for the future,"said Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij.
