COVID-19: Streets wear deserted look in UP, as weekend lockdown extended to 3 days

Amid a sharp increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in Uttar Pradesh, the state government extended weekend lockdown to three days.

Streets in Moradabad wore a deserted look as the state observes weekend lockdown.

The weekend lockdown in the state will now be in place from Friday night till Tuesday morning.

However, Medical shops and hospitals will remain open during the lockdown.
