COVID: Nepal under two-week lockdown

Due to surge in COVID-19 cases, Nepal entered into two-week lockdown and only essential services are allowed during this time.

Police kept a tighten surveillance on the vehicular movement in Kathmandu.

The prohibitory order came into force, starting 6 am on April 29 and will end on May 12 midnight.

Nepal has more than 30,000 active coronavirus cases currently.
