Streets wear deserted look in Kochi after fresh restrictions over COVID-19 spike

Amid rising cases of COVID-19, the streets of Kerala's Kochi wore a deserted look on April 26 late night.

District administration has imposed strict restrictions to contain the spread of coronavirus.

The commercial institutions that include shops will operate from 7 am to 5 pm.

The hotels and restaurants shall operate from 7 am to 9 pm.

Only parcel services and takeaway facilities are allowed.

Active COVID cases count crossed 2 lakh-mark.
