Vaccine can be taken during periods: NITI Aayog
Addressing rumours suggesting women shouldn't taken vaccine during menstruation, NITI Aayog Member-Health, Dr. VK Paul said that the vaccine can be taken during periods and it is no reason to postpone vaccination.
Amid unprecedented surge in COVID-19 cases, NITI Aayog said that pace of vaccination cannot be declined in the face of the emerging situation.
"In fact, it should be escalated," said Dr. VK Paul, Member-Health, Niti Aayog.
