Major crisis averted at GTB Hospital due to promptness of Delhi Police

A message and a call was received from the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) appointed Nodal officer of GTB Hospital, for police assistance for swift transport of oxygen tanker from Inox plant Modinagar to GTB Hospital.

The tanker and driver details were shared and immediately the police swung into action.

DCP Shahdara immediately contacted DIG police, Ghaziabad, and SP (rural) Ghaziabad started the coordination for swift transportation with police escort.

Meanwhile, a team was dispatched from Police Station GTB Enclave which met the UP Police team midway and took over the responsibility and escorted the tanker through the shortest possible route.

Finally, the tanker reached GTB Hospital within an hour of dispatch through the green corridor.

The hospital administration thanked DCP Shahdara and his team profusely for timely help which saved 700 lives at stake.
