Trees uprooted, homes damaged after high-velocity winds hit Siliguri

Trees uprooted, vehicles and tin shed damaged following rainfall and strong winds in West Bengal's Siliguri on April 22.

Rescue and relief operation by local administration underway, no casualties reported yet.

The IMD has predicted thunderstorm with rain and gusty wind would occur over Siliguri.
