WEB EXTRA: Former VP Walter Mondale Passes Away
Former Vice President Walter Mondale died of natural causes on April 19, 2021, at 93, according to a statement.
He passed away at home in Minnesota.
He was vice president to Jimmy Carter, and ran for president against Ronald Reagan in 1984.
He was also Minnesota's attorney general and senator.
