Watch: 14-ft-long king cobra rescued from Odisha’s village; released into the wild

A 14-feet-long king cobra was rescued from a village in Odisha's Badamba.

The male adult cobra was rescued by the local forest department officials on April 14.

Locals spotted the snake in an abandoned area and informed the forest department.

A forest team rushed to the spot and carried out the rescue operation.

The 14-feet-long king cobra weighed around 6.6 kg, informed forest department officials.

It was later released into the Talachandragiri Reserve Forest of Gopalpur.
