Under flyover, school in Delhi educating slum kids amid pandemic

A school, with an aim to provide education to children residing in nearby slum areas, has been set up under a flyover in Delhi's Mayur Vihar phase 1.

The initiative was taken up by a group of people amid pandemic.

Currently, the school has 250 students from Nursery-KG to class 10th.

One of the teachers, Deepak said, "Classes run from 8 am-2 pm.

We wanted to build a shelter here as classes get disrupted when it rains.

We faced little difficulty from DDA but now it's working properly."
