Himachal board examination for 10th and 12th classes begins

Amid surge in COVID-19 cases, Himachal board examination for 10th and 12th classes started on April 14.

Schools have been given strict instructions to follow COVID norms to ensure safety of the children.

Over 2.5 Lakh students are appearing in both standards of the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education.

Principal of Girls School Narendra Kumar Sood said, "Today examination of 10th and 12th board had begun.

Hindi paper for 10th in morning session and English for 12th in evening session.

Guards have also been ordered for thermal scanning and sanitization of the children before entrance.

Social distancing would be maintained.

We have followed all COVID norms so that it won't affect the children and examination."
