Human brains originated 1.7 million years ago in Africa | Oneindia News
Researchers from the University of Zurich in Switzerland say the modern human brain originated 1.7 million years ago in Africa.
According to their research, the first ancestors from the genus Humo emerged in Africa about 2.5 million years ago and walked upright, but had primitive ape-like brains that are about half the size of present-day human brains.
