Khelo India State Centre of Excellence for rowing inaugurated in Kashmir
Union Minister of State for Sports Kiren Rijiju along with Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha inaugurated Khelo India State Centre of Excellence for rowing in Srinagar.
Built at renowned Dal Lake, the centre will provide an opportunity to water sports enthusiasts in the region.
Local residents and authorities believe that this centre will also play a key role in boosting adventure tourism.
This is the second such centre with one in the fencing discipline already operating for a significant time now.
