'Shame on democracy': Mamata lashes out at BJP after Cooch Behar poll violence

Following the death of five people in two separate incidents in Cooch Behar during polling for the fourth phase of assembly elections in West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee criticised the central government as she accused Home Minister Amit Shah of being the conspirator.

Calling BJP's election campaign in Bengal a "shame on democracy", Banerjee asked the Chief Ministers of opposition states to raise their voice against Centre.

Banerjee said she will visit Cooch Behar tomorrow to take stock of the situation.
