Bijapur naxal attack: Captive CRPF jawan's family block highway in Jammu
Locals along with family of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan Rakeshwar Singh Manhas, who has been held captive by Naxals following the April 03 encounter, blocked Jammu-Akhnoor highway on April 07 demanding his release.
Mother and wife of Manhas alleged that Centre or Chhattisgarh government is not taking any action to bring back Rakeshwar.
CRPF jawan Rakeshwar Singh Manhas was part of the team that was attacked by Naxals in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur and has been held captive by them.
Communist Party of India (Maoist) released a statement and confirmed abduction of the CRPF jawan during the encounter that happened on April 03 in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur.
