Priyanka Gandhi proposes Peace and Harmony dept in Kerala

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi proposed a 'peace and harmony department' while addressing a meeting in poll-bound Kerala's Thrissur on March 31.

The department, she said, will aim to ensure non-violence in the state.

"Politics in Kerala has become violent, driven by tension due to policies of LDF.

We propose to set up a peace and harmony department to ensure that this kind of tension, political murders don't continue to happen, and politics of anger and hate is challenged," Priyanka said in Thrissur.

Kerala will go under polls on April 06.
