Remembering Vietnam Vets on National Vietnam War Veterans Day

The day marks the anniversary of the departure of the last U.S. combat troops from Vietnam.

March 29th was also the day Vietnam War POWs were returned to freedom.

The president of the local chapter of the vietnam veterans of america says its important to never forget what a troops went through and sacrificed.

Congress passed "the vietnam war recognition act" in 2017... formalizing march 29th each year as "national vietnam war veterans day."
