'Approached EC for free and fair polls in WB': Soumendu Adhikari
As 1st phase of assembly elections in West Bengal began, BJP leader Soumendu Adhikari said that voters are being influenced at a booth and EC has been approached for free and fair polls.
He also said that BJP has given Alauddin's name to EC as he creates disturbance.
"Voters being influenced and stopped from voting at booth number 149.
Overall, the polling is being held peacefully.
EVMs malfunctioning at some locations and it happen in all polls.
EC is looking into it... We approached EC that there should be free and fair polls.
People will choose whom they want.
TMC is scared.
We have given name of one Alauddin to EC, he creates disturbance there," said Soumendu Adhikari.
