Assam polls: Security tightened ahead of 1st phase voting
Security was tightened in 47 assembly constituencies in Assam on March 25 ahead of the first phase elections which will begin from March 27.
Campaigning for first phase of Assam Assembly elections has ended at around 5 pm today.
BJP, Congress and AIUDF are the main parties which are going to fight the assembly seats.
However, implementation of COVID protocols during voting will be a hard nut to crack for the state.
