COVID: Surge of over 50k cases, another high of 2021
India reported highest infections of 2021 on March 25 with 53,476 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the total toll to 1,17,87,534.
Union Health Ministry reported 26,490 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
With new numbers, total recoveries reached 1,12,31,650.
Currently there are 3,95,192 active cases in the country.
With 251 new deaths due to COVID virus, death toll stood at 1,60,692.
Total number of samples tested up to 24th March is 23,75,03,882 including 10,65,021 samples tested on March 24.
