Mamata Banerjee launched a scathing attack on PM Modi and called him a 'liar’.
The West Bengal CM accused BJP of bringing goons from outside to the state.
The TMC supremo further accused BJP of destroying the culture of West Bengal.
“I have never seen a liar like PM Narendra Modi.
He only speaks lies,” she said.
“They (BJP) are bringing goons from outside.
We don't call people who hail from Bengal outsiders.
Goons from UP donning saffron clothes and chewing Pan Bahar are being sent here.
They are destroying the culture of Bengal,” she added.
In run-up to Assembly polls, an intense power tussle is witnessed between ruling TMC and BJP.
Elections to the 294-member state Assembly will be held in eight phases starting March 27.
The final round of polling will take place on April 29, counting of votes on May 2.
