5 security personnel killed in IED blast triggered by Naxals in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur

Around four District Reserve Guard (DRG) jawans and one police personnel have lost their lives in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast triggered by Naxals in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district.

Few jawans also got injured and have been admitted in the hospital for medical treatment.

More details are awaited in this regard.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel condole the demise of DRG jawans who lost their lives in the IED blast by naxals.

He has directed officials to ensure proper medical treatment of the injured.

As per CMO, CM Baghel has strongly condemned the incident and said anti-naxal operations will be intensified in the state.

Naxals are frustrated as they are losing their ground due to continuous operations by security forces in the region.

This act is the outcome of their desperation.
