PM Modi launches 'Catch the Rain' movement

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched 'Catch the Rain' movement on World Water Day via video conferencing on March 22.

He said, "People from Rajasthan, Gujarat understand water-related problems well.

I'm also from Gujarat, faced such problems too.

That's why in Union Water Ministry, we have a minister from the region with such issues." Under the 'Catch the Rain' campaign, dams will be checked, rooftops rainwater harvesting system will be promoted and water harvesting will be done.
